Leadership and culture, built into everyday practice

Practical, systems-based support for founders and leaders whose organisations are growing fast - built to hold as you scale, not just look good on paper.

Common pressure points in organisations

Inconsistent manager responses

As you grow past the size where you're in every room, how managers handle a difficult comment or behaviour starts to vary - team to team, person to person. That's not a values problem. It's what happens when growth outpaces the systems meant to hold things together.

Avoidance of difficult conversations

People see something that needs addressing and let it go - not because they don't care, but because they don't feel confident, safe, or equipped to handle it well in the moment.

Language not being challenged

Non-inclusive language goes unchallenged - not out of malice, but because people don't know how to respond constructively in the moment.

Lack of confidence and capability

Most leaders want to do the right thing - they just don't have a practical framework for acting on it consistently and confidently when something comes up.

Inclusion outside everyday systems

Inclusion sits in policy documents and one-off training rather than being embedded into the day-to-day fabric of how the organisation operates.

Impact on retention and risk

Avoidable attrition, grievances, and disengagement are quietly costing you time, trust and talent - often right when you need your best people most. None of it shows up as a line item until it's already expensive.

Outcomes that show up in daily practice

Inclusion isn’t a project – it’s a practice. Our approach is built around what actually shifts when people lead and respond differently, not around ticking off a training calendar. Here’s what founders and leaders typically see after working with us.

  • Managers who respond the same way, whether or not you're in the room
  • Difficult conversations that actually happen, instead of getting quietly avoided
  • Issues raised early, before they become formal ones

How support is delivered in organisations

Support is shaped around what is happening in your organisation and where practice is inconsistent across managers or teams. The aim is to build capability that shows up in day-to-day decisions — in feedback, team dynamics, meetings, and the moments where language needs a clear response.

Work is grounded in real conversations and practical application: structured listening, training focused on the situations leaders are actually facing, mentoring to support leaders in real situations, and ongoing review to track progress over time.

Listening and insight sessions

Structured conversations to hear what's really happening for your team, and where practice is inconsistent across managers.

For Example

  • Themes and patterns across teams
  • Clear priorities for what needs attention first

Targeted training and development

Practical training focused on the real situations your leaders are facing right now - not a generic course.

For Example

  • Handling language and behaviour concerns early
  • Leading difficult conversations with clarity
  • Building consistent expectations across managers

Mentoring and coaching (1:1 or groups)

Support that helps leaders apply what they've learned in real situations - not just understand it in theory.

For Example

  • Manager confidence in feedback and sensitive conversations
  • Consistency across teams and decision-making
  • Support for leaders handling incidents or complaints

Tracking progress, long term

Ongoing support to track what's changing and keep improvements holding, not just a one-off fix.

For Example

  • A clear read on what's improved, and what still needs attention.
  • Review points to check what is changing in practice.
  • Ongoing support so it holds after we've left the room.

The Elevation Blueprint™

The Elevation Blueprint™ starts with a clear, honest assessment of where your organisation actually is – because the right next step for one team is rarely the right one for another. It’s not built from a generic template; it’s built from what’s genuinely happening in your organisation, what your people need, and what change that actually holds looks like in your specific context.

What the Blueprint includes:

  • A clear, honest assessment of what's actually happening in your organisation right now
  • Practical systems, not workshops — the structures that let decisions happen consistently without everything running through you
  • Inclusion and hiring practices treated as risk management, not a nice-to-have - because at speed, bad practice becomes a real exposure fast
  • A clear picture, by the end, of what's actually changed - not just a certificate of completion

First steps for founders and leaders

Not sure where to start? These two entry points are designed to help you get a clear sense of what's happening and what next steps would be most useful for your team or organisation.

Resilient Leaders Elements (RLE)

Supporting senior leaders through periods of growth and change.  A structured coaching framework that develops resilience, clarity, and decision-making skills in leaders.   It supports leaders in building self-awareness and consistency, especially in navigating situations they find difficult — so their responses are grounded rather than reactive.

Who it's well suited for

  • Managers in newly expanded or high-pressure roles
  • HR leads supporting senior leadership development

Coaching call

A focused call where you share what you’re dealing with, and Audrey gives you a clear sense of what realistic next steps look like. It’s a practical starting point — not a sales pitch — that lets you find out what working together could actually look like for your organisation.

What you leave with

  • A clearer picture of what's driving the challenge you're facing
  • Practical ideas you can act on straight away
  • A sense of whether next steps together would be useful

Trusted support for leaders

Elevation Coaching and Consulting helps founders and leaders build the leadership and culture that inclusion depends on. The work sits at the point where behaviour, decisions and systems collide: handling language, incidents, staff confidence, and inconsistent practice, often under pressure and with limited time.

Exclusion rarely comes from bad intentions. It shows up as silence, inconsistency, and moments handled badly – which is why Audrey’s approach is practical, not theoretical: helping teams build shared language, respond more consistently, and embed clearer expectations into systems and routines. The goal is confidence and consistency across teams, not one-off awareness.

  • Support for founders, CEOs and senior leaders
  • Practical training, coaching and consultancy
  • Focused on confidence, consistency and risk reduction
  • Embedded in your systems, not a one-off session

"We adopted a whole-community approach to engagement. Audrey provided training for teaching and support staff, governors and school leaders, whilst also seeking feedback from colleagues, pupils and parents. Over the last two years, we have seen real and tangible progress, leading to the development of an Inclusion Policy, the establishment of an Inclusion Working Group, two parental forums, and staff-facilitated training. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Audrey. I greatly value her openness, her willingness to provide constructive challenge, and the support she has offered throughout our partnership. "

Frequently asked questions

We've answered some of the questions leaders and organisations often ask before getting started. If you're unsure where you fit, or want to talk through your context, we're happy to have a conversation.

Ask a Question

Not necessarily. Many founders and school leaders get in touch because they sense something’s off, not because they can point to one specific incident. That’s exactly what the first conversation is for — understanding what’s actually happening before anything’s proposed.

There’s no fixed timeline for either. Every organisation and every school is starting from a different place, so the plan is scoped to what’s actually happening rather than fitted to a generic package. That’s exactly what the first conversation is for — giving you a straight answer, not a standard number that doesn’t reflect your reality.

No. We don’t run generic DEI modules, one-off awareness sessions, or standalone training days as the core offer — for organisations or for schools. Inclusion isn’t something we deliver as a values exercise or a policy document. Our work focuses on leadership behaviour and organisational systems, because that’s what actually determines whether inclusion happens in practice.

For organisations, it runs through the Elevation Blueprint — a four-stage approach starting with an honest picture of what’s actually happening, building the leadership habits that stop teams freezing under pressure, and embedding those habits into your systems so the standard holds without you personally having to enforce it every time. For schools, it starts with a 30-minute discovery call — a conversation, not a pitch — followed by a five-step process: understanding what’s happening, agreeing priorities, building a plan with named ownership, putting it into practice, and checking it’s actually holding over time.

It gets expensive, in a predictable order. First, quiet attrition — you lose good people before you know there’s a problem. Then it becomes formal — small issues nobody caught early turn into grievances. Then it hits reputation — word gets round, and hiring gets harder.

A conversation, not a pitch. For organisations, that means understanding what’s actually happening in your business before anything’s proposed. For schools, it’s a 30-minute discovery call with the same aim — nothing gets recommended until we’re genuinely sure what you need

This is for founders and leaders of organisations growing fast, and for school leaders — including mainstream and special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) settings. The work looks different depending on which you are, but the underlying belief is the same: inclusion isn’t a values statement, it’s what happens in the decisions leaders make when something difficult actually happens.

I built a school’s leadership and systems from a standing start — no systems, no leadership team, growing the staff from 23 to over 100 people in two years, and taking it to an Ofsted ‘Good with Outstanding Features’ rating within three years. That’s alongside thirty years across mainstream and SEND education. I’ve lived what it takes to build something that holds under fast growth, not just studied it.
